We have a new website! Please go to SEHDR.bravehost.com! SEHDR was formed because we saw a need for the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of herding breeds. Including but not limited to Shetland Sheepdogs, Collies, Border Collies and Corgis. On occasion we also take in herding dog mixes. We understand that because these dogs are herding/working dogs they like to have "jobs". Because of this we train our rescued dogs in agility, carting, and obedience if they seem like good candidates. Many of our adopted dogs are now therapy and agility dogs. We are not a shelter. All of our dogs live indoors in a private family home where they receive love, training, and excellent care. We do not have a shelter or outdoor kennels. We are strictly no-kill. We have a 30-day return policy. If you decide the dog is not right for you and your home, you are welcome to bring him back unharmed within 30 days of the adoption for a full refund of the adoption fee. You can read more about this on the page titled "Adopting a Dog".
